Gudmar Olovson Estate

Gudmar Olovson (Swedish, 1999-1999), was a energetic sculptor whose works sit in public and private collections across Europe. Part of the artistic intelligencia in Paris for most of his life, his works have the benefit of being produced by one of the best founders in history. Today his estate is overseen by his heirs whose adoration of their father’s work ensures strict casting controls of the remaining casts in the started editions, complying with French Law and continued use of the Coubertain Foundry. Each work is issued with a certificate and full edition listing.

Gudmar worked intensely during his life-time with a focus on the work he was producing. Despite this his work exists in collections across Europe by collectors who were referred to his studio by his admirors but because of this his work has not been exhibited outside of Europe until 2025 at the Treasure House Art Fair, following which his work now exists in an eminent private collection in England.

Olovson’s work focused almost exclusively on themes of love and family, which resonate through time and provide connection at our deepest levels.
