Harvey Horswell is an artist agency built around long-term, studio-led relationships with artists, and a belief that meaningful work leaves a lasting cultural trace. We focus on artists whose practice feels both original and rigorous, and whose work we believe will resonate far beyond a single season or trend.
We work closely with our artists, offering guidance and support from sales through to shipping, but always begin in the studio to ensure the integrity of the work is carried through from creation to display.
Who We Are
We believe that being an independent artist doesn’t mean working alone, and that collectors who want direct relationships with artists shouldn’t have to take on unnecessary risk. Drawing on over two decades of international commercial gallery experience, we bring that expertise into artists’ studios, helping them occupy their place in the art world in their own right.
Our projects prioritise artist-led visibility and are designed to operate beyond the usual boundaries that can hinder genuine connection.
ARTIST SUPPORT
Since launching in 2024, growing demand has led us to expand into every area an artist might need in order to operate independently at a highly professional level. Over the last two years we have visited more than one hundred studios and found a universal need for clear, practical guidance – from templates to photography advice – that simply isn’t widely accessible.
The challenge has been scale: providing this support individually to everyone who asks would make it impossible to run the Agency side of our work, and in‑person delivery requires higher fees that many artists cannot justify at their current stage. Over the past year we have therefore been working with a team to build an off‑the‑shelf solution; it will never replace our one‑to‑one bespoke curation or studio development, but it does offer either a way to begin or the tools to level up your reach and the service you offer your own clients.

Harvey Horswell bears it’s name from a blending of Flo Horswell and her mother Mary Harvey. Mary Harvey was a pioneer female academic, writing on 20th century sculpture and contemporary painters. The blend of our past and our future to make a strong present is one of our key focus points. To learn more visit our ‘About Page’.

We select artists we have worked with and ask if they would like to join our agency. We then offer selected works to our client list, to museums and projects, alongside promoting the artists for projects and collaborations. We connect our artists directly to our clients, both private and public, but handle all the admin, so the client and artist get to focus on the creative experience.
